How Care at Apex Wellness Works

Care at Apex Wellness follows four steps in a fixed order: a comprehensive blood panel first, a consultation where the physician reviews those results with you, personalized treatment, and ongoing monitoring. Every service in the practice runs on this same model.

Medically reviewed by Dr. Tadd Delozier. Last updated .

1. Labs Before Consultation

Care at Apex Wellness begins with data. The office sends your lab order to a partner lab and you go in for a comprehensive blood panel: hormone levels, thyroid function, metabolic markers, and the other measures that explain how you feel. There is nothing you need to arrange yourself, and the blood draw is handled entirely by the lab rather than at our office.

2. Medical Review

Once your full panel is back, the office schedules your consultation and you sit down with Dr. Delozier. He goes through your results with you in plain language, alongside your symptoms and your pain, injury, or illness, your health history, and what you are hoping to change. All of it is documented. This is a physician-level assessment by a board-certified doctor with 30 years of clinical experience, not a form matched to a template.

3. Personalized Treatment

Your plan is built from your lab results, from that conversation, and from Dr. Delozier's clinical judgment. The therapy, the dose, and the delivery method are all matched to you. Whether that plan involves hormone therapy, pellet therapy, peptide therapy, medical weight loss, or a combination, you will understand what each part is for and what to expect from it. He also tells you plainly when treatment is not the right answer.

4. Ongoing Monitoring

Treatment is followed with scheduled visits and repeat labs, because the right dose today is confirmed by data tomorrow. Monitoring is how your plan stays effective and safe as your body responds, and it is a standing part of being a patient at Apex Wellness, not an optional add-on.

Why the labs come first

The blood panel comes first because symptoms alone cannot tell you what is happening underneath them. Fatigue, weight change, poor sleep, and low drive can all come from very different causes, and the only way to separate them is to measure. Having your results in hand before you sit down means the consultation starts from facts about your body rather than from assumptions about it.

It also means your time is spent well. Instead of a visit that ends with a lab order, you and Dr. Delozier spend that visit on what your numbers actually show, what they mean for your symptoms, and what should be done about them. Nothing is recommended on symptoms alone when the numbers should decide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need labs before my consultation?

Yes, and there is nothing you need to arrange yourself. The office sends your lab order to a partner lab, you go in for the blood draw, and your consultation with Dr. Delozier is scheduled once your full panel is back. MedlinePlus, from the National Library of Medicine, explains what medical lab tests measure and how results are used.

What are the four steps of care at Apex Wellness?

The four steps are: 1. Labs Before Consultation. 2. Medical Review. 3. Personalized Treatment. 4. Ongoing Monitoring. Every service at Apex Wellness follows this same model, led by Dr. Tadd Delozier in Lincoln, Nebraska.

What happens at the consultation?

Dr. Delozier goes through your blood panel with you and explains what the results mean in plain language. You talk through your symptoms, your pain, injury, or illness, your goals, and your health history, and all of it is documented. Your treatment plan follows from your results and that conversation.

How often are labs rechecked?

Follow-up labs are scheduled as part of the ongoing monitoring step of the care model, as often as your plan calls for. The exact schedule is personalized to your treatment plan, and Dr. Delozier explains it when your plan is set.

What if my labs come back normal?

Dr. Delozier will tell you plainly. If your results do not support treatment, he explains what your labs show and discusses appropriate next steps rather than recommending therapy that the data does not justify.
